V0.3 Patch Notes
- Talent points are now limited to 5 per level
- Fixed a bug where the number of available Talent points would reset when leveling.
- HP is now filled when leveling
- Possibly fixed a bug causing a maximum memory error when battling with low HP.
- Added walls (Mountain sprite around the map)
- UI Overhaul
- Fonts
- Background Image
- Enemy's now scale with their distance from player spawn. Farther enemy's are more difficult, while closer enemys are less difficult but also less rewarding.
- Enemy's now have a nameplate displaying level and name
- Added Chests... or are they?
- I forget the next couple lines, but then it goes "SECRET DEV ROOM! SECRET DEV ROOM! THROUGH THE MOUNTIANS... SECRET SECRET SECRET DEV ROOM... YEAH!"
Things on the TO-DO list for update v0.4
- Finish UI overhaul
- Buttons need a sprite
- Add more chests around the map
- Bug causing a maximum memory error when battling is still present after more testing. Will have to possibly re-work how combat is coded. For now, if the game freezes in combat the fix is to refresh the page.
- Adjust chest loot. Currently this is scaled similarly to how enemy's are scaled. However this results in chests at the edge of the map rewarding upwards of 2000 gold.
Things on the TO-DO list for future updates
- Some form of quest system, this may be added to taverns or possibly traveling NPC's.
- Something to spend gold on, currently nothing is added so gold endlessly accumulates.
- Add multiple character sprites to choose from; Male Traveler, Female Traveler, Wizard, Knight 1, Knight 2, King
- Road paths in-between taverns
- Sprites for enemy's
